What we believe
The Bible.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and complete Word of God. We believe that the Bible is sufficient to teach us all we need to know in all matters pertaining to faith and conduct.
The Gospel.
We believe the gospel to be the good news about God’s works of salvation. We believe that all people, left to themselves, rebel against God and are deserving of God’s judgement. But God sent his son, Jesus, to take our punishment on himself by dying for our sins. God raised Jesus from the grave, thereby conquering death and promising us new life after death.
The Church.
We believe that God intends believers to practice their faith, not as individuals, but as a body called the church. We believe that we as Christians need each other and that we should meet together regularly and encourage one another by spurring one another on toward love and good deeds. We also believe that as individuals and as a local body, we should be actively sharing the good news of the Gospel.
